A trial has begun in Krasnodar on one of the noted crimes taken place last spring in Krasnodar territory, when over 30 gravestones of the citizens of Armenian nationality were destroyed at the Slavonic graveyard as a result of an act of vandalism. The court sitting is held without press representatives, which was motivated by “auditorium being small and the big number of the aggrieved.” As reported by “Yerkramas” Krasnodar newspaper, the defendants are accused on the article of “Destruction of tomb constructions committed by a group of persons upon prior collusion and on the motive of national freedom” of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
