This September on the invitation of the chief of the General Staff of the Chinese armed forces the delegation of Armenian military personnel headed by chief of the General Staff of the Armenian armed forces Mikayel Harutyunian will leave for Peking. As reported by the military attache of the Chinese embassy in Armenia Yuy Syaoyuy to “Arminfo” agency, the military cooperation between the two countries develops, in particular, in two directions: contacts in military-political sphere and the training of personnel. At present a group of officers of the Armenian army is being trained in the military institute of foreign languages of Loyan Chinese town. Training of several other similar groups is also expected in the near future. In the military attache’s words, the military cooperation between the Armenian and Chinese armies has already passed its initial stage. This means that one can cooperate with the other in accordance with its own capabilities and wishes.
