SIX NEW MEMBERS IN CONGRESSIONAL CAUCUS ON ARMENIAN ISSUES

There are six new members in the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues. Lois Capps, David Dreier, Chaka Fattah, Zoe Lofgren, Karen McCarthy and Diane Watson representing California, Penssylvania, Missouri have joined the Congressmen’s group focusing on Armenian-American issues. The activities of the group also aim at assisting in peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, opening of the Armenian-Turkish border as well as recognition of the 1915 Armenian genocide in Ottoman Turkey. So the addition of Representatives brings the Armenian Caucus total to 120.
