Armenian futsal team made a draw with Bulgaria

Armenian national futsal team made a draw with hosting Bulgarians in the first European Championship 2010 elimination match.

The Bulgarian players opened the score in the beginning of the match, but, 3 minutes in, Vladimir Mkhitaryan scored a reply goal. In the end of the first time the Armenian team made a breakthrough thanks to Armen Danielyan. In the second half the Bulgarian team managed to restore the balance and maintain it till the end of the game. The Armenian team managed to gain possession of the field, yet Grigor Kapukranyan failed to score a 10 meter penalty kick.

The match of Armenia’s Group B rival was completed with Latvia’s victory who drubbed the Estonians 5-0. The victory brought the Latvians to the fore of the team event. Armenian and Bulgarian teams came second and third, with Estonians, closing the team event.

Tonight, the Armenian team will play against leading Latvia, and the Bulgarian team will rival Estonians.

The four winners in the team event and two best teams winning the 2nd place will get through to the EC 2010 qualifying round.
