Artists print Dadivank khachkars ahead of handover to Azerbaijan

A group of artists have printed the images of khachkars in Dadivank to archive them as the Armenian monastery might stay under the control of Azerbaijan.

Armenians all over the world fear the building will be vandalized once Azerbaijanis take over the land that is historically Armenian and was controlled by Nagorno-Karabakh in the past 30 years.

At the moment, however, Russian peacekeepers have been deployed to the area to ensure the security of the monastery.

Dadivank was built between the 9th and 13th centuries and belongs to the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
