More than 75 Jewish leaders have come together to stand with the Armenian people attacked by Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh.
In a statement released by Jewish World Watch, the leaders said Turkey abetted Azerbaijan by sending arms and mercenaries and F-16 aircraft, maintaining that the violence is the continuation of the hatred and atrocious crimes against Armenians over 100 years ago.
105 years after the Armenian Genocide, the United States administrations is failing to recognize how the current atrocities are ties to those of the past.
"We stand together with the Armenian people demanding an end to aggression from Azerbaijan and Turkey," the statement reads.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev have signed a deal to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Karabakh (Artsakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan said on Tuesday that he has agreed to the deal signed by Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan.
