Armenian grandmaster Vladimir Hakobyan sustained his first defeat from Greece’s Christos Banikas in the 3rd tour of the European Individual Chess Championship in Budva, Montenegro.
Tigran Petrosyan, Artashes Minasyan and Tigran Kotanjyan defeated their rivals. Arman Pashikyan and Zaven Andreasyan made a draw.
In the 4th tour, Vladimir Hakobyan will play Monday vs. Azeri grandmaster Eltai Sarafli.
