United States National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Ibrahim Kalin, Spokesperson and Chief Advisor to the President of Turkey, spoke over the phone Tuesday, February 1 and discussed regional issues, including efforts by Turkey and Armenia to normalize relations.
According to a press statement from the White House, Sullivan and Kalin underscored their shared commitment to both ongoing diplomacy and joint efforts to "deter further Russian aggression against Ukraine".
Also Tuesday, Britain expressed support for the normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey.
