In the capital of Lithuania Vilnius, the Agreement on military cooperation between Armenia and Lithuania is signed. Armenian president Robert Kocharian, who is on official visit in Vilnius, signed the agreement from the direction of the Armenian party, from the Lithuanian one, the agreement was signed by president of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus. The heads of the Armenian and Lithuanian states preferred not to enlarge on the details of the signed agreement. According to Robert Kocharian, the agreement is standard and does not stipulate any special activities. It is quite another matter that the business relations have to be extended in order that it could be spoken about the forming of the bilateral agreement-legal field at the next meeting of the two presidents, the head of the Armenian state noted.
