EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar is “encouraged by substantive bilateral contacts” between Baku and Yerevan.
“Ending two days of good meetings in Armenia. Emphasised the European Union’s continued support for a comprehensive Armenia-Azerbaijan peace settlement,” Klaar said on Friday, January 19 after his trip to the South Caucasus.
“Encouraged by substantive bilateral contacts between Baku and Yerevan and looking forward to also fully re-engage with Azerbaijani interlocutors following elections.”
