The Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) has confirmed that Yerevan’s Republican Stadium is now fully ready to host the national teams of Portugal and Ireland.
According to the statement, all technical, safety, and infrastructure requirements have been brought in line with international standards to ensure matches are held at the proper level. A UEFA delegate has inspected the stadium.
The stadium’s pitch had been damaged following a Jennifer Lopez concert in Yerevan, but has since been restored.
Pre-match training sessions will take place at the Football Academy.
