Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that it will be practically impossible to reach an agreement with Kyiv on key issues, even if political will is shown. He made the remarks during the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum.
Putin noted he is formally prepared to establish contact with the Ukrainian side, but in his view, such communication makes no sense.
“Reaching agreements with the Ukrainian side will be practically impossible, even if there is political will,” he said, as reported by RIA Novosti.
The 10th anniversary Eastern Economic Forum is being held on September 3–6 in Vladivostok, at the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. This year’s main theme is “Far East – cooperation for peace and prosperity.”
