Armenian wrestler takes 4th career bronze in Zagreb

Freestyle wrestler Arsen Harutyunyan has claimed the bronze medal at the World Wrestling Championships held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.

Competing in the 57 kg weight class, four-time European champion Harutyunyan faced Mexico’s Roman Bravo Young in the bronze medal match and secured victory with a score of 7:4, according to Armenpress.

This marks Harutyunyan’s fourth bronze medal at the World Championships, like in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

So far, Harutyunyan's achievement is Armenia’s only medal at the current World Championships in freestyle wrestling.
