On October 1–2, Vladikavkaz is hosting the international freestyle wrestling tournament Khadartsev Brothers Cup 2025, with six Armenian athletes participating.
The competition features wrestlers from Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Belarus, Moldova, Hungary, Georgia, Panama, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Austria, and Greece, according to Pastinfo.
Armenia’s delegation includes:
- Arman Musinyan (65 kg), facing Aygun from Austria in his first match
- Tigran Ghazaryan (70 kg), opening against Zarylbekov of Kazakhstan
- Artavazd Harutyunyan (74 kg), going up against Russian Zakuyev
- Narek Ikilikyan (92 kg), wrestling Sharipov of Bahrain
- Gurgen Simonyan (97 kg), competing with Tavgazov of Russia
- Henrik Haykyan (125 kg), matched with Russian Pasyonok
Previously, Armenian Greco-Roman wrestlers competed in a tournament held in Novosibirsk.
