Turkish club Galatasaray is interested in signing Armenian national team midfielder Eduard Spertsyan from Russia’s Krasnodar FC, according to Football24ru.
Spertsyan is reportedly among the top candidates on Galatasaray’s shortlist for the upcoming January transfer window. Turkish media note that head coach Okan Buruk is keen to strengthen his midfield options, and Spertsyan is viewed as a priority target.
Krasnodar has stated it is open to considering offers. Last summer, English club Southampton showed interest in the player, but the Russian club declined the deal.
The 25-year-old has made 159 appearances for Krasnodar, scoring 49 goals and providing 42 assists.
