Henrikh Mkhitaryan, midfielder for Italy’s Inter Milan, has been recognized as one of the most physically resilient players in Europe’s top five leagues, according to a recent report by analytics platforms Gradient Sports and TransferRoom.
The study examined players who have appeared in at least five matches this season, evaluating their physical intensity and work rate throughout games, Factor.am reports.
The 36-year-old Mkhitaryan has averaged 11 kilometers per match, ranking 10th among footballers in Europe’s elite leagues.
In the current Serie A season, Mkhitaryan has played in seven matches and appeared in one UEFA Champions League game. He is currently recovering from an injury sustained during the October 25 match against Napoli.
