On June 17, RA Sports Minister Armen Grigoryan and NKR Sports Committee Chair Razmik Hovsepyan singed a cooperation agreement for 2009-12.
The agreement aims at developing cooperation between two countries’ sports ministries.
Sports is one of the most important spheres for developing and strengthening friendly ties between Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh Republic, RA Sports Minister Armen Grigoryan said.
Let’s note that Armenia and NKR started cooperation in the sphere of sports in April 2009 upon the initiative of National Olympic Committee Chair Gagik Tsaroukyan, leader of “Prosperous Armenia” party. During his visit to NKR, parties signed agreement on constructing a new sports school and football grounds, as well as proposed a number of other projects aimed at developing sports in NKR.
