RUSSIAN DIPLOMAT CONSIDERS MOVING ARMENIANS OF KRASNODAR TERRITORY TO OTHER COUNTRIES IMPOSSIBLE

«Arminfo» agency reports making reference to Baku newspapers that Russian Ambassador in Azerbaijan Nikolay Ryabov stated that moving the Armenians residing in Krasnodar territory to any parts of other states, including Nagorno Karabakh, was impossible. By that Ryabov dispelled the apprehensions originated in Azerbaijan that the Armenians exiled form Krasnodar territory would settle in Nagorno Karabakh. In the Ambassador’s words, “one should not even suppose Russia to act so coarsely, especially in such a complicated region as the South Caucasus.” Answering journalists’ question on the topic Azeri President Heydar Aliyev stated that he considered resettlement of the Armenians from Krasnodar territory to Karabakh not likely.
