Winner in pan-Armenian games women’s basketball tournament was Yerevan team which beat Tehran basketball players 72:66.
In another basketball match, Gyumri beat Stepanakert 102:65.
Let’s note that women’s tournament was organized in a round robin system, with 5 teams participating in it. Tabriz team which had applied for participation did not arrive in Yerevan.
Final tournament position is as follows: Yerevan – 8, Tehran 6, Gyumri – 4, Stepanakert – 2, Sisian – 0.
Yerevan’s best player was Zaruhi Aslanyan, the team’s tallest player (193 cm.), who gained 110 points.
