REGULAR ANNUAL TRACECA FORUM TO BE HELD IN YEREVAN

The annual conference of the TRACECA member-states of the project on the creation of the Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia will be held in Yerevan October 8-10. In the words of Armenian minister of transport and communications Andranik Manukian, the preparations works are being carried out at present and the conference agenda will be ready by the end of August. He also emphasized that this year Armenia will undertake obligations for being the presiding country in TRACECA. As the minister noted Armenia is situated at the crossroad of the ways confirmed by the participants of the transport map for the realization of which a political resolution on the frontier opening is necessary to be adopted by Turkey. The representatives of all 12 project member-states are to take part in the conference works.
