In the course of the next two days the date of the Armenian parliamentary delegation’s visit to Krasnodar district will be ascertained. As Chairman of the parliamentary commission on foreign relations Hovhannes Hovhannisian reported to the «Arminfo» correspondent, 5-6 deputies from different parliamentary factions and groups will be included in the delegation. The chief of the foreign relations commission will head the delegation himself. In Hovhannisian’s words, they constantly keep in touch with the district leadership. Today a telephone conversation was held with the district vice-governor. In his opinion, progress is registered in the problem solution. Hovhannisian also noted that the district prosecutor intended to appeal against the law adopted by the district Duma on making the migration regime more severe, which in fact became a cause for activation of anti-Armenian sentiments. The district Prosecutor’s Office considers that the aforementioned legislative act is passed with violation of the norms of the Russian Constitution. The head of the foreign relations commission stressed that the situation is observed by the Armenian authorities and the country President in person. Hovhannisian considers important for the Armenian delegation to visit Krasnodar district to familiarize with the situation and prevent possible excesses in the future.
