The ancient stained-glass windows were broken as a result of the assault against the Bethlehem Church of Nativity. Besides, fire broke out in one of the rooms of the complex. Arab sources report about the failure of the assault. There are no victims among the Palestinians and the Christian priests that are in the church. It should be reminded that there are priests of Armenian monastery in the complex of the Church of Nativity. After novice of the monastery Armen Sinanian, wounded by an Israeli sniper, was hospitalized, six Armenian priests are still in the church blocked by the army. The priests do not get in touch with the Palestinians hiding in the territory of the church. An ancient Armenian mosaic was destroyed as a result of the fire on the church.
