Armenian President Robert Kocharian has signed the decree on appointment of the Yerevan conservatory head the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Russia. He will replace Suren Saakian that represented the official Yerevan in Moscow for last two years. Armen Smbatian is 48. In 1996-98 he was the minister of culture and sport.
