Armenian foreign ministry has come out with a statement, in which it expresses disturbance due to wounding Armenian citizen sub-deacon Armen Sinanian in Bethlehem church of the Nativity. The document spread by the Armenian foreign ministry press service notes that the ministry is disturbed by the latest events in the Near East. Official Yerevan calls upon the Israeli government to remain faithful to its pledge and not to admit fire on the temple and the people in it. The statement says that Armenia calls upon Israel to declare truce and withdraw troops from the Palestinian autonomy territory. “Condemning terrorism as a phenomenon we consider that the political problems can be solved only via political means and we call upon the parties to resume the dialogue,” – the statement says.
