Gabriel Sargsyan becomes Mika’s winner in European Chess Cup

In the second round of European Chess Club Cup, Armenia’s Mika struggled through harsh competition, beating Moscow’s ShSM-64 3.5:2.5.

Most effective was Sargsyn vs. Karauna match where Armenian grand master was up to the mark. All other matches ended in draw.

Thus, after 2 rounds, Mika gained 4 points, sharing 1st-14th positions with other teams.

In the 3rd round, Armenia’s champion will compete against Keiv’s pVk whose players are Alexander Onischuk, Yevgeniya Miroshnichenko, Alexander Areshchenko, Vladimir Baklan and Spartak Vysochin.
