IMF TO DISCUSS PROBLEM OF TRANSPORT BLOCKADE OF ARMENIA BY TURKEY

IMF Executive Director J. de Beaufort Wijnholds has expressed concern about the transport blockade against Armenia held by Turkey. He stated about it at the meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margarian in the Mexican city of Monterrey. As reported by Armenian Government press service, Wijnholds noted he intended to discuss “the disturbing fact” with IMF leadership and would do everything to support Armenia in the problem solution hoping for improvement of the social-economic situation in the country.
