«Philip Morris» company intends to set up a joint enterprise in Armenia. «Arminfo» agency has been told this by well-informed sources. According to the report, at the present time the company is negotiating with interested Armenian organizations. «Philip Morris» is not concerned about high transport expenses and strict competition unavoidable when cigarettes are supplied to the Armenian market. After the joint enterprise has been set up, the company is going to avoid such problems. The results of the negotiations will be known in the nearest future.
