TURKISH PEOPLE DISPLEASED WITH MEETINGS WITH ARMENIAN ORGANIZATION REPRESENTATIVES IN WHITE HOUSE

The meetings with the representatives of Armenian organizations of America in the White House on the initiative of the US government displeased Turkish people. In this connection «Hyuriet» Turkish newspaper expresses doubts regarding the fact that the meetings took place on the initiative of the US government. It is impossible to understand the objective of these meetings, the newspaper states, when in Cyprus «Armenian ministers speak about Turkey as a common enemy». The author of the article complains of that Ankara has recently simplified the order of getting visas for Armenians while «no comments have been heard regarding this from Yerevan and hostile calls are even heard».
