LEBANESE COMPANY INVESTED SOME 12 MILLION IN DEVELOPING NAGORNO KARABAKH TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM

“TMF” Lebanese firm, which is owner of the newly created “Karabakh-Telecom” company, has already invested some $12 million in developing the telecommunication system of Nagorno Karabakh. In the words of the general director of “Karabakh-Telecom” Ralf Irikian, the company intends to modernize the telecommunication sphere of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and to provide cellular and paging communication. “Arka” agency reports that “Karabakh-Telecom” does not intend to increase the tariffs for using common telephone communication. Ralf Irikian specially noted that “introduction of payment by minute for city internal telephone conversations is not expected.”
