In the course of the session of the executive committee on Armenia-Iran-Greece trilateral cooperation deputy Foreign Ministers of the three countries discussed the prospects of building an Armenian thermal power station on the Iranian territory. Realization of the project will let save considerable means, as supply of electric power via high voltage lines is cheaper than transportation of energy resources. The question of joint construction of a new hydroelectric power plant on Araks river was also discussed at the meeting.
