Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian, who is in Tbilisi with an official visit, and Georgian finance minister Zurab Nogaydeli have signed an agreement on restructuring of Georgian debt to Armenia. September, last year, the sides agreed on the terms of debt payment but the issue on the interest rate was not decided. The Georgian side should have paid payment with 4% rate by 2002. It is expected that the new agreement will stipulate rate fall.
