HEAD OF ARMENIAN COMMUNITY OF AJARIA AWARDED WITH HONOR INSIGNIA ON BEHALF OF GEORGIAN PRESIDENT

On behalf of the Georgian President Ajarian head Aslan Abashidze handed Honor Insignia to Armen Gevorgian, the leader of the Armenian community of the autonomous Republic. He is awarded for “professional work in the governing bodies and personal contribution to strengthening friendship between the Georgian and Armenian peoples.” “Medimax” agency reports, that with assistance of the authorities of Ajaria Armen Gevorgian has initiated reconstruction of an Armenian church built in 1893.
