The chairman of the Union of Armenians of Russia Ara Abramian met with Azerbaijan’s President Heydar Aliyev in the course of the work of the world economic forum taking place in New York. According to ITAR-TASS reports, the perspectives of Karabakh conflict peaceful settlement were discussed. Ara Abramian made an appeal to proceed from the fact that Nagorno Karabakh had never been a part of independent Azerbaijan de jure at the talks.
