Iraq’s trade minister will arrive in Yerevan in late February. Member of parliamentary group of Armenian-Iraqi friendship Ghukas Ulikhanyan stated it at the press conference today. It should be reminded that the group members were in Baghdad recently. In Ylikhanyan’s words, the agreement on establishment of Armenian-Iraqi intergovernmental commission will be signed during the visit of the Iraqi minister. The commission activities will result in the fixation of quotes for the export of Armenian industrial and agricultural production to Iraq. According to the official of Iraq’s Embassy to Armenia Akop Martirosyan, who was present at the press conference, commodity turnover between Armenia and Iraq might be $200-300 mln.
