ARMENIA PROMISES THE US TO HELP TO BRING OUT BANK ACCOUNTS BELONGING TO TERRORIST

The fourth session of working group on Armenian-American economic cooperation has finished its work in Yerevan. The group co-chairs, coordinator of the US State department for cooperation with countries of Eurasia, Ambassador William Tailor and RA minister of finances and economics Vardan Khachatyan have expressed satisfaction with the two-day work results. Ambassador Teilor has stated that American part accepted all the proposals of Armenian government. A program on Armenian-American cooperation in the sphere of economy is developed. Agreements on American’s assistance to Armenian government for realization of anti-corruption program, for providing for energy safety and for Armenia’s joining WTO were achieved. The parts discussed the issue on increase of quotas on Armenian tobacco products exported to the US as well as the problem of avoidance of double taxation. The ways to coordinate efforts to bring out suspect accounts in Armenian banks that can be concerned with terrorist organization were defined.
