Currently, Aronian (3 points) shares the 2-4th positions with Alexander Grischuk and Vugar Gashimov (Azerbaijan). Bulgaria’s Veselin Topalov leads the tournament with 4.5 points.
In the 7th round, Aronian will play vs. Francisco Vallejo Pons (Spain).
