Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian and Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria) agreed a draw in the 8th round of Linares 2010 chess tournament.
Since the start of the tournament, Levon Aronian drew 8 consecutive games, having scored 4 points.
Veselin Topalov tops the tournament table with 5.5 points, followed by Russia’s Alexander Grischuk (5 points) and Levon Aronian.
In the 9th tour of Linares 2010, Aronyan will play vs. Israel’s Boris Gelfand with black pieces.
