EXACERBATION OF US-IRANIAN RELATIONS NOT GIVING CAUSE FOR ARMENIA CONCERN

There is no cause for Armenia’s concern due to exacerbation of the US-Iranian relations. Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian told journalists. In his words, the tension between Washington and Teheran slightly decreased today. Official Yerevan follows these developments with much attention, the minister said. He also noted that next week a working group would arrive in Yerevan from Teheran to arrange for the visit of president of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Khatami to Armenia.
