As “Azg” Yerevan newspaper informs with reference to “Aydinlik” Turkish magazine, the Istanbul University teacher Sabandj Halil Berktay stated that Turkey had captured the historic motherland of Armenian people. The scientist noted that Anatoliya that Turks considered their historic motherland had been completely unknown to them till 1915. According to Berktay, capturing Armenian lands, Turks occupied them finally after 1918. “Anatoliya is not Turkish territory and was captured in 1919-22”, said he.
