GEORGIAN PARLIAMENT VICE-SPEAKER SUGGESTS “PEACEFUL CAUCASUS” NEW CONCEPT

Georgian parliament vice-speaker Vakhtang Rcheulishvili suggested new interpretation of the idea of “Peaceful Caucasus.” In his words, as reported by Georgian media, the new concept provides for strengthening cooperation of the South Caucasian countries with the US and Russia and formation of geopolitical security in the region with their participation. In the vice-speaker’s words, the given concept was recently discussed with the Azeri leadership and was approved by them. Now the Georgian parliament vice-speaker intends to discuss it with Armenia.
