STARTED ARMENIAN-TURKISH DIALOGUE DOES NOT INCLUDE DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS ESTABLISHMENT BETWEEN TWO COUNTRIES

The Turkish press reported interesting details concerning the meeting of the Armenian and Turkish foreign ministers in Madrid, May 3. Particularly, as reported by “Mediamax” agency, today’s number of “Hurriyet” newspaper writes, Gul and Oskanian made a “little but historical” step towards the formation of new relations between the two countries. “In the course of the meeting, held in an extremely warm atmosphere an agreement was achieved on undertaking measures for speeding-up the present certain mutual understanding”, – the newspaper notes. According to the source, both ministers were unanimous concerning the attraction of Azerbaijan to this new process. The parties agreed to take measures for imparting a new impulse to the present process what will immediately affect the residents of the boundary regions. The primary aim of this new approach will become the “providing the peaceful existence and economic welfare of the people of the region”, – the newspaper writes. At the same time “Hurriyet” emphasized that the new approach does not include the establishment of official diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkey.
