BULGARIAN GOVERNMENT WILL NOT DISCUSS RECOGNITION OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE YET

The subject of recognition of the Armenian genocide as a historical fact is not under consideration in the Bulgarian Government. As reported by “Arka” agency, Temporary Charge d’Affaires of Bulgaria in Armenia Ivan Ivanchev stated this in the course of his lecture at the American University of Armenia. In his words, Bulgaria has serious internal political problems claiming resolution. “It is a very delicate question in the historical aspect,” – Ivanichev said. Commenting the Karabakh problem, I.Ivanichev said Bulgaria adhered to a neutral position and considered the conflict should be settled exclusively via peaceful means.
