Republican Council of Belarusian National Assembly ratified the Agreement between Belarusian and Armenian leadership on mutual non-entry-visa travel for the citizenry. According to this agreement, the citizens of one state can enter, go on transit or stay in the territory of the other state possessing only an identity card and confirming the citizenship of the owner document, passport or sailor’s ID, for instance. In Belarusian parliamentarians’ opinion, the ratification of the agreement as well as its further coming into effect will contribute to the development of friendly relationship, intensification of economic, trading, scientific-technical and cultural links between the peoples of the two countries. The document was signed in June 2002.
