The other day by the decision of commercial director of “Kaliningradavia” OJSC Vladimir Trukhin, Kaliningrad-Yerevan flight was delayed for more than 24 hours in the airport of Kaliningrad Russian city because of the absence of the taking off permit. As a result of this delay, as reported by “”Regnum” agency according to the words of the chairman of transport complex development department of Kaliningrad territory Igor Krasnyanski, “Armenian passengers were humiliated and the conflict was roused to a national one”. In this view, the leaders of the local Armenian Diaspora sent a letter containing a request to examine the situation to the authorities of Kaliningrad territory. After a conference in the transport department held with the participation of the both parties I. Krasnyanski said that “Trukhin’s statements do not reflect the policy of “Kaliningradavia” towards the Russian citizens of Armenian origin”. In his opinion, the reason of the conflict lies in the desire of “Kaliningradavia” to get “Perm airlines”, its rival, out of the way and to appropriate the flight to Armenia that had become a profitable one.
