RUSSIAN-GEORGIAN TALKS ON RESTORATION OF RAIL COMMUNICATION BETWEEN RUSSIA AND SOUTH CAUCASUS EXPECTED TODAY

Russian-Georgian negotiations to resume rail communication along the Sochi-Tbilisi line connecting Russia with the South Caucasus are expected in Moscow today. The Russian delegation will be headed by deputy minister of communications Vladimir Sazanov, the Georgian party will be presented by first deputy minister of transport and communications Georgy Nizharadze. It should be reminded that the agreement on restoration of rail communication on Sochi-Tbilisi stripe was achieved in March at the Sochi meeting of the Russian and Georgian presidents.
