Georgian Constitutional Court dismissed three judges of Armenian nationality. As reported by “A-info” agency the judges of Akhalkalaki and Ninotsmind regions of Georgia namely Susanna Manukian, Stepan Eranosian and Ararat Zorabian have been relieved of their posts. The reason for the resolution served the fact that the above-mentioned judges could not pass requalification exam in the Georgian language. Meanwhile, according to the source, the judges’ professional knowledge being at a high level enabled them to take the exam in Russian. In this connection “A-info reminds of an existed before agreement, according to which the judges of Armenian nationality were given the opportunity to take requalification exam in Russian. As the source notes, the Georgian Constitutional Court resolution will be also discussed at the sitting of the Georgian Administration of Justice Council, June 1. According to the report, the dismissed judges were the last ones of those of Armenian nationality in Georgia.
