Midfielder of Armenia’s national football team and Shakhtar Donetsk Henrik Mkhitaryan admitted that he is not in the best shape before his team’s last match in the Champions League group stage with Braga on December 8.
“I have joined the rest for training, but there is still little time left before Braga. So right after the League fixture on holidays I will try to get into shape to start the new season,” the football club press service quoted Mkhitaryan as saying.
As for the upcoming match with Braga, Mkhitaryan said: “We have got a good squad, all players are strong. We will do our utmost to qualify in the top spot. And Braga’s level is not our concern.”
