THE THIRD FORUM OF ARMENIAN UNIONS OF EUROPE HAS BEEN HELD

. The third conference of the forum of Armenian unions of Europe has been held in the German city of Bonn. Nearly 100 representatives of Armenian communities of more than 20 countries participated in it. The conference unanimously approved the report of the executive body of the forum, particularly highly appreciating the work of the newly opened information office in Brussels. The reports on the results of the second conference of the forum of Armenian businessmen of Europe, undertaking the initiative to mark the Artsakh day in Europe, teaching Armenian in the diaspora and the EU’s programs directed towards raising the blockade of Armenia by Turkey were listened to. The current stage of the campaign for recognition of the Armenian genocide was also discussed . At the meeting on June 3 the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Austria and the OSCE Jivan Tabibian presented the main directions of the foreign policy of Armenia, the vice-chairman of the diaspora department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Jivan Movsisian explained the reasons for delaying the Armenia-Diaspora conference. The new members of the board were confirmed. The fourth conference will take place in Moscow or Bucharest.
