Armenians of Iran for Khatami

. Armenian community of Iran has spread a statement by which it is appealing to the compatriots to vote for the present president Muhammad Khatami at the elections. They will take place on the eighth of June. According to the information of IRNA agency 250 thousand Armenians live in Iran now. The statement lists the achievements of the head of the country during the past four years. ‘He recognized us, our culture. He gave us hope,’ says the statement.
