Armenia’s Weightlifting Championships kicked off in Yerevan on February 25.
Women winners have become known in all weight categories: Margarita Ghazaryan (48kg), Isabella Yaylyan (53kg), Elen Grigoryan (58kg), Christine Petrosyan (63kg), European and World champion Nazik Avdalyan (69kg), as well as European champion and World Championship bronze winner Meline Daluzyan (+75kg).
Men in weight category 56kg also entered the competition on February 25, with Zhorzh Yeghikyan winning gold, Secretary General of the Armenian Weightlifting Federation Pashik Alaverdyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
The tournament will be finish on February 27.
